Stumptown Coffee Roasters
Stumptown Coffee Roasters is a renowned coffee roastery located at 30 W 8th St in New York, offering a delightful array of coffee options from Latin America, Africa, Indonesia, and beyond. Their dedication to quality shines through in each cup, with carefully curated flavors that highlight the best characteristics of each region's beans.
One standout offering is the Guatemala Finca El Injerto, with its rich blend of bourbon plum, dark chocolate, orange, and grapefruit notes, perfectly balanced with honey and brown sugar sweetness. This coffee is a true testament to the Aguirre family's commitment to producing exceptional brews year after year.
For a taste of Rwanda, the Huye Mountain blend boasts flavors of melon, cocoa, and golden raisin, showcasing the dedication of farmers David Rubanzangabo and Tim Schilling in creating top-notch coffee while also improving community access to clean water.
But the star of the show is perhaps the Hair Bender blend, a complex mix of coffees from Latin America, East Africa, and Indonesia. This blend offers a symphony of flavors, from milk chocolate and caramel to jasmine and meyer lemon, all expertly combined to create a truly unique and satisfying cup.

Lovely coffee shop with good coffee and great croissants. The service was friendly and quick. However, my latte was less than lukewarm and that was not all that great. But something easy to fix.

Good coffee each time. Any kind of their coffee is good. I also have bought beans before. I love the atmosphere and the choice of pastries at this place. I love the fact it is safe as well.

I stopped in for a quick espresso. I was told a shot ($4) is always pulled as double - good to know! I was able to order pretty quickly, and it hit the spot - made to perfection. This location is sleek and bright - fancy hipster. It feels like a nice oasis and place to hang a while. All the tables were full around noon. Lots of beverage items are available to grab and go are available at the front right in front of the door.
